Katja Theinkom
Visual Artist
My artistic practice develops from the relationship between form and space, material and perception. In architectural contexts as well as in independent bodies of work, I investigate how interventions, shifts, light and movement alter spatial relationships.
Alongside my long-standing site-specific practice, I currently develop process-open works with paper and cardboard. Material history, transformation, fragility and interstitial spaces are becoming increasingly central.
