A stainless-steel form with an RGB LED light strip is mounted a few centimetres in front of the yellow wall and at a slight angle to it. The pupils can control the light by remote control, continuously adjusting brightness and colour. Offset to the left, a painted form lies directly on the wall; its inner contour precisely follows the outer line of the stainless-steel form — the two fit together like pieces of a puzzle.

Shadows cast both by the window on the left and by the light strip continually change the way the work is experienced. An interplay between materiality and immateriality emerges.

Warm light gives the same form an entirely different atmosphere.
