Lines, planes and colour take up the vertical rhythm of the louvred façade and develop it into a spatial composition between building and open space.
Three round tubes take up the vertical lines of the wooden louvred façade. Rising five metres from the ground at different angles, they do not touch one another. Two amorphous forms relate to the tubes — the larger encloses all three, while the smaller touches one and is penetrated by another. A third form is set into the ground. All three were laser-cut from a single sheet, and the elements fit into one another.
The composition creates an impression of movement in space as lines and planes begin to interact. Depending on the daylight, the shadows of the sculptural elements catch and release the element in the ground, continually redrawing it graphically.
